Pros

Working with renewable energy vs oil, Pge or other utilities Pay is pretty good Variation on projects Used to have better per diem or sometimes has it

Cons

A lot of travel, especially last minute ( day before requests) No benefits as a seasonal Emphasizing employees with less experience in managing roles that make it difficult to do day to day tasks due to lake of experience or recent graduates managing biologists with 10+ years of experience No opportunity for growth or to become full time from seasonal Ask a lot of you with no regards for your safety Used to have better company organization but in recent years have kind of dropped off Tend to have payed men doing the exact same job more

Pros

Working outdoors and year end bonus after an extra quarter into the next year

Cons

Rude/disrespectful, expected to work weekends and use your own car because they tell you that you will have access to fleet vehicles when you are hired but there is actually only one and it’s always reserved by someone else and they expect you to take time away from your own life to hang out with “office friends” and you are to put your own wellbeing and safety in the back burner so that they can reach unrealistic expectations so that your boss can get a fat bonus and you can get all your time burned up
