Pros

Free Coffee/Tea and discounted food and specialty drinks Flexible scheduling Can be fast paced Most people that work here are pretty laid back (not upper management though) If you're a hard worker/upsell a lot you'll get as many hours as you want It's easy

Cons

Low pay and not much room for career advancement in my experience You're paying for food at work which a lot of fast food places don't make you do If you get a bad franchisee you're effed and might as well quit No benefits or very few benefits Tips depend on surveys that only count if customers rate you at 5 stars, which most people aren't aware of and will rate 3 for things employees have no control over, like donut selection Too much focus on "good" drive through times with a faulty system for keeping track of it Have to literally beat your superiors with broken umbrellas to get a raise
