Pros
The organization's mission creates a lot of jobs (and career opportunities) for any hard-working young person.
Cons
Horrendous, toxic dumpster fire of a company. I've never worked anywhere where unprofessional behavior and downright bullying was so widespread. In my time there I experienced consistent mistreatment, and heard from others on multiple occasions that they had been brought to tears by treatment from a colleague. I am hesitant to even leave this review because this is not a culture that encourages people to speak up. Over my time there, whenever I raised a concern or even had a simple question I was suddenly in trouble/causing trouble. There are some smart people working at Dutch Bros, and there are some nice people working there as well. Unfortunately there is also a large population of underqualified and defensive ostriches who are unwilling to acknowledge the poisonous culture. They've gotten their jobs based on who they know, or who thinks they are "awesome." There is a strong resistance to getting away from their ingrained ways of doing things--which has created glaring exposures in terms of compliance with basic labor law and employer duty of care. That said, I think the stock will rise and there will be job opportunities coming out of this organization. My own personal experience aside, I would advise anyone considering a role there to ask pointed questions about total rewards, DEI, and work-life balance. I found the company to be woefully behind the times in all these areas. There are some strong, experienced leaders in the C-Suite but they are either unaware or unconcerned about
