Pros

Dynamics Inc. is an ambitious company that is still working to develop its technology and its culture. As with any young company there is a lot of learning and development to do. This provides great opportunity for anyone with similar levels of ambition and a vision of how to create a positive culture that nurtures creativity and talent to show they can affect change and make an impact. It is an open question what kind of company Dynamics Inc will turn out to be, but the enterprise will provide opportunity for people who want to help answer such a question. The technology is challenging: we are trying to pack an interactive computer, with sensing, actuation and artificial intelligence into a familiar credit card form factor. There is a host of engineering challenges associated with such a device, a global supply chain to develop, manufacturing technologies that don't yet exist, and a drive to a price point that could put this technology in the hands of any person in any corner of the planet. And it needs to keep working for 5 years. The CEO is the founder and has a vision of how this technology can revolutionize the process of individuals making payments and the payments industry as a whole. He is fully committed to this company being a success.

Cons

Dynamics Inc. is an ambitious company that is still working to develop its technology and its culture. So, there is a lot of room for improvement and sometimes the improvements don't come fast enough and mistakes still get made. A lot of frustration arises from these issues. As with any young company there is a lot of learning and development to do. We don't yet know how to create a positive culture that nurtures creativity and talent as we aggressively try to deploy our products and that results in people feeling that it's a grind. Because its an open question what kind of company Dynamics Inc will turn out to be, there's uncertainty, and a concern that it will be one that uses people up and gives nothing in return. The technology is challenging: we are trying to pack an interactive computer, with sensing, actuation and artificial intelligence into a familiar credit card form factor. There is a host of engineering challenges associated with this technology and not knowing all the answers means long hours, blind alleys, lots of ideas that don't work out, worries that we can't get it done, and sometimes feeling that we're not good enough to get it done. The CEO is the founder and has a vision of how this technology can revolutionize the process of individuals making payments and the payments industry. Dealing with the stress of trying to make a venture like this succeed, when there are a million ways that it can fail, brings out behaviors in him that can be tough to deal with.

Pros

Since day one I have been treated as if I have been part of the team for 10 years. They really understand a work/life balance. The team is great and very helpful. CEO is very knowledgable and shares his knowledge and helps others learn. The enviroment is very team oriented and they take the time to catch everyone up to speed, even with previous projects. Good benefits. Cutting edge industry changing projects.

Cons

Computers could use some updating.

Pros

The people you suffer with are the only highlight

Cons

- The stale/stagnant upper "management" (They're not really management because the CEO micromanages absolutely everything). - The CEO tells everyone they are useless so that they won't feel like they deserve a raise. - The CEO wants to only hire desperate people because, they have no where else to go. - The CEO micromanages everything and prevents engineers from engineering solutions (the whole point of their job) - The CEO has extremely bad "good idea fairy syndrome" where he enacts last second changes to processes, software, equipment, etc. without any input. Those decisions lead to extra support needed on weekends, significantly slowed processes, and pointing fingers at everyone else for being the problem. - The CEO will never admit he makes mistakes, calls you a liar when you call him out and show him evidence, and challenges people to blame him for the issues occuring - I could go on and on, but you have to understand at this point that you shouldn't be working here. Do not believe the fake 'good' reviews on here. The CEO says that Glassdoor is for collecting negative reviews so that Glassdoor can hold the company for ransom to remove all the bad reviews for a large sum of money.
