Pros

You meet amazing people that are working with you. Some of the managers are amazing. They will pay for you to get licensed

Cons

Management is shady. They force you to do surveys and volunteer but state it’s “voluntary”. Micromanaging is big here. They are also quick to lie about your pay and schedule to which they turn around and basically give you the middle finger. Oh! And after hiring some as remote, we are now being forced to neglect our families and go into the office, no matter if it’s 4 hours away one way or not. This company doesn’t care about its employees. Management will talk to you any kind of way and talk about you in a “upper management” chat. E*Trade was a MUCH better company before the merger. Not to mention that they are transferring all accounts over to MS yet no one has trained us on ANY MS system. All of the fun things that ET did needs to be brought back. Growth in this company is non existent if you don’t kiss their butts. Your hard work will not matter because they are a numbers company. People of color are overlooked a lot. And they WILL retaliate against you if you go over management’s head. Making people drive super far when you hired them as a remote worker speaks volumes about this company.

Pros

It is a friendly work environment—at least at the Gilbert office. Colleagues are very helpful, and managers are highly supportive of your work. I enjoy working here; there is no office politics. The pay is good, and there are plenty of opportunities to transfer to different roles.

Cons

The new system is nowhere near as good as the old one; I don't know why we were forced to switch. Sometimes, even after you submit a workflow, the new system doesn't even show it. There are plenty of opportunities to transfer to other roles, but applications go completely unanswered. You have to contact HR, yet they barely seem to care. It’s essentially a call center; even though your colleagues are great, you never know if the next customer might ruin your entire day.
