Pros
Pay is decent (when working)
Cons
Here’s where it all falls apart. First you’ll be told you’re looking at 9-10 months worth of work and the truth is the company is looking at 9-10 months worth of work not your consecutive time. You’re added to a long list of candidates and may wait for months to get an opportunity. They bid on projects but never check the contractors schedule so they’ll assign you an 8 week project but the contractor plans to complete in 4. If you’re a buddy or the bosses wife then you’re taken care of but apart from that it’s a crap shoot, and don’t be fooled by the statement that inspectors can return by seniority or by request because if you’re requested but it doesn’t “align” with their plans then you’re out. This company should be treated like a stepping stone.
