Pros
Certification policy, benefits, job experience
Cons
First of all I would like to say that the money you make at this job is contingent upon the weather and your scheduler. This is not a good thing. You are at the mercy of someone who may, or may not like you. You cannot control the weather so going two weeks without pay is an option depending on the weather in your area. Training is dismal at best. Supervisors expect perfection and when you make a mistake they will jump down your throat. Threats of write ups are common. Upward movement is this company is nonexistent. Pay is EXTREMELY LOW for the caliber of work you do and if you are not driving a lot, little money is to be made. Job description is very misleading. Favoritism is a big factor in this job. You also do not know your schedule for the next day until the end of the current work day so early hours and late notice is common. Save yourself the trouble.
