Pros
-I work in one of the smaller offices of ECS (It escapes a lot of the bureaucracy) -It is a casual office and we are like a family here - My schedule flexibility is good. The managers and techs here typically work 50-60 hr/week. -We can do lunches occasionally and just yesterday got ice cream, etc. -Training and reimbursements (good for experience & building up your resume) -I deal with corporate a lot and they tend to be helpful most of the time. -Listing this in positive and negative, growth depends on your office... techs: talk to your Admins (seriously, we are happy to help- at least I am). For Example: We had a tech that was working towards a degree & was interested in a certain field that wasn't available with our office. I called up my contacts and was able to do an easy transfer to a higher position (instant $7/hr raise for him there). Just communicate!
Cons
- The offices are hit and miss with management; I have seen some that were toxic and then a few small great ones. -As stated before, Growth depends on your office. -The pay is terrible all around..not just for techs. They try to say that they make it up with other benefits but the benefits are average.
