      Pros

      There are many types of career advancement for those who are willing to work for it. The company covers the cost of certifications to advance your field knowledge and your pay along side it. They also provide tuition reimbursements for college education which is required for high advancement.

      Cons

      There aren't many downsides for those who are not afraid to put in major effort into what they do. Yes, sometimes you will arrive at a job site at 0400 and not finish until 1500 that day. Yes, sometimes you will have to work extremely hard to do the right thing for the clients. You will not succeed in life with minimal effort. Just do the work and the rewards will present themselves.

      Pros

      Fantastic work experience for my resume, and beneficial to improving my technical understanding with hands on field experience, and creating reports and updating GIS in office. Working with a small team also has its perks, because you get more exposure to a wide range of the tasks that go into running the business.

      Cons

      Pay was modest, and sometimes work was slow. I also didn’t get any hands on design experience, though I would have liked to.
