Pros

Coworkers were great and really worked together. The scheduler makes every attempt to help out the staff in the field.

Cons

There is no support at all from Management despite it being so top heavy. There is no critical thought process to problem- solve or trouble shoot issues pertaining to patient care, except to run more reports and place more expectations on field staff, or hire more management when staffing is already low. There is a ton of micromanagement with No leadership; a complete disconnect between Management and staff and patients. The charting system is ineffective and difficult to navigate, compromising continuity of patient care. Vidant, as a whole, is more focused on appearance than substance. They will renovate offices to make them look beautiful, but not give their clinicians the tools they need to perform effectively and efficiently. The orientation program is short and remiss. There is a high turnover rate because of this- only 2 Case Managers have been there for longer than 3 years- and that, too, contributes to the problems that come along with being understaffed. The caseload is unmanageable, placing both the patient, and your license, at risk.
