Pros

The company is going to get bigger and bigger. We're giving people ownership, and they're doing their jobs with responsibility and integrity.

Cons

Currently, the company continues to rise, and is adapting to the subscription market. The environment of the IT market is changing to a multi-cloud market, and customers are experiencing limitations in using CSP companies' products. EDB is responding to the market environment and is increasing its brand and awareness in the market with the high technology of DBMS.

Pros

- Access to several great sales tools and platforms - Decent pay - EDB is well respected in the Postgres community - Working to innovate quickly

Cons

- Most of the leadership lacks technical data expertise which creates friction in the sales motions and positioning. - Currently a small total addressable market. EDB does not compete well with cloud competitors and primarily is geared towards on-prem Postgres in a market that continues to migrate to the cloud. - High turnover across the sales org. - Long, difficult sales motion accompanied by expectations for quick wins.
