Pros

Company has good values and philosophy on paper. The benefits are good, however, they are being cut, little by little every year. Some senior leaders are great.

Cons

Does not walk the talk. Execs just want good PR, but don't really care about employees. Recent example CEO told people to donate to United Way in all company meeting, because he is competitive and wants EMC to be a top donor in Des Moines. Doesn't care about helping people, just what makes him look like he does. They talk about cutting expenses, but fly around in private jets. Top execs are not held accountable. CEO is incompetent, HR leaders are bullies, Field Ops leader is mean, rude and difficult to work with.

Cons

Boys club mentality. Great if you want to make it your life (and you want to hang out with those kind of people). Not so great if you want to do your job and have your own identity.
