Pros

1) Great close-knit team of hard-working and talented individuals who look out for each other like family. The CEO provides lunch everyday and encourages us to take a break and eat as a team. By doing so, you get really get to know your colleagues and build deeper relationships with the people you spend most of your day with. 2) Nurturing culture - The owners have done a great job with creating a supportive work environment where their employees can grow personally and professionally. Everyone is encouraged to have a voice and communicate their opinions, not just on projects but also on business operations. It's important to the owners that their employees have a good work-life balance. 3) Many opportunities for learning and collaboration. There's a constant exchange of knowledge and ideas between team members, not just about the tech but also on best practices and how we can improve on what we already know to deliver a great product we can all be proud of. The team members are great at recognizing strengths in each other and how to leverage those qualities to improve our product and help us succeed individually and collectively as a company.

Cons

No remote work - If you are looking for a position that allows you to primarily work remotely, this may not be the place for you. The company prides itself on building community and providing opportunities for collaboration, all of which is difficult to achieve if you are not here in person.

Thank you for your feedback about the shared pool of sick and vacation time. I apologize that we did a poor job of explaining the benefits of it, when you first came on board. The idea behind having a shared pool for sick and vacation days, is that you can use your days however you want ,without being restricted to X number for sick and Y number for vacation...ie, your hours, your choice. We're trying to provide you more flexibility, so if you're not prone to getting sick, you get more vacation days. Also, as you now know we give everyone a week of paid time off between Christmas and New Years. In addition to that, as you also know, when everyone is caught up and there's a good opportunity, we like to give everyone surprise days off or short days. Yes, work can be stressful. It comes with the territory. Our customers and our agency partners expect a lot from us, and we're determined to always meet, and when possible, exceed their expectations. As you know, this job definitely requires a servant's heart.
