Hello, Thank you for your honest feedback. We're pleased to hear that you find the work meaningful and aligned with ENGIE’s mission to accelerate the transition to a carbon-neutral economy. We recognize your concerns regarding culture and perceptions around career advancement. Supporting employee development and fostering a fair, inclusive work environment are priorities for us. In 2024, we launched our new People Development Strategy, which will be rolled out to all managers in 2025. According to our latest internal survey, 72% of employees feel supported in acquiring the skills needed for the jobs of tomorrow, and 71% report having access to the information, resources, and support needed to manage their careers effectively. We also continue to invest in equity and inclusion through initiatives like Be.U@ENGIE, launched in 2022, which promotes performance through diversity, equity, and inclusion. ENGIE is proud to be ranked first among CAC 40 companies for female representation in 2024, and to be recognized as a diversity leader by the Financial Times. Your feedback helps us identify where we can do better, and we sincerely thank you for contributing to our mission. Warm regards, The ENGIE HR Team

Pros

The work can be challenging but also fulfilling at the same time and many opportunities and resources to learn. The pay and benefits are a little above average.

Cons

The culture has adversely changed where it used to be cooperative but now it is more cut-throat and many things are not communicated properly and an imbalance of responsibility and accountability which is causing conflict. There are many "exceptions".
