Meridian is 100% a company that puts profits over patients. Not only does the upper management not care about the patients, but they are willing to put their staff in unsafe environments. They do not care that patients are not receiving the best treatment because there are not enough staff - they only care about the money. Patients can do just about anything and not end up getting discharged because Meridian loses money whenever beds aren’t filled. Those patients ruin the experience for every other patient there who actually wants to get betters At one location, there was a mental health professional who assaulted a patient and was not terminated due to the fact that she supervised all of the social workers in the company. This company is incredibly toxic and unethical and I would not recommend this job (or even these facilities for people looking for treatment) to anyone.
