Pros

You can switch projects when you like (when you can ;) ) Bench has no impact on salary Lots of trainings Well organised line management

Cons

Promotion and recognition process is trying to be fair, although there are cases of people really hard working and somply not have time to go to assessment, and people who are underloaded and just simply work from assessment to assessment Recently do not feel safe due to settlement agreements for people on bench (though I am not on bench)

Pros

* Easier to find a project within the same company * You are still being paid in between project (bench) * My friend made 1K applications and could find work. But as soon as he became EPAM employee he had a project 1 week later.

Cons

* About -10-15% less paid then in average on the market
