      Pros

      Large contractor with many office locations. Work is plentiful. Good pay but regulated by IBEW. Lots of overtime possible.

      Cons

      Nepotism is rampant in this company. Managers don’t know how to manage and promotions are only given to family members or buddies of the bosses. Promises are made to keep you working hard, not because they actually are going to honor them.

      Treated very fairly with the industry’s best safety program.

      There’s a proverbial ceiling that I can’t pass and limited growth opportunities

      Pros

      If you show up everyday and work hard, you can make a good living as an IBEW electrician. The benefits aren't bad either.

      Cons

      If you want to have a long career at ESI you need to either get with one of the good foremen (rare), or brown nose one of the bad ones (not rare)
