No career paths for anyone except for favored employees. Many have promotions dangled in front of them but the never get that promotion and less qualify or even people that don't have the required degrees for the posting get the job over employee that are hard working and put in the extra effort. All they want are a bunch of Yes men/women. If you have the slightest opinion that is not what management wants then they consider you toxic and your career is dead.
