Pros
Great benefits and fun work environment. Extremely family friendly.
Cons
Very limited upward mobility, the company grows very slowly so there is little to no room for advancement out of middle management. The founder's brother in law is also the company president and all of their kids and spouses work at the company. The nepotism is very evident. ETC has a very socialist approach to benefits and pay, which is admirable, but it presents a ceiling to pay and limits pay to value for employees as there just isn't enough money to pay people what they're worth. ETC also starts to feel a little cult-like because of the strong presence of the founder and the longevity of the average employee. If you don't completely buy into the image of a fun and whimsical company you will feel like an outsider.
