Management and leadership at Corporate office are so focused on GROWTH GROWTH GROWTH and MORE GROWTH that they forget about the well-being and sanity of their own employees. Unless you are related to someone at this company or are the best friend of of someone in leadership, don't expect anyone to care about your professional growth or goals. High amount of women in office makes for a catty culture when the going gets tough or when sales slump. Leadership doesn't understand the importance of mobile and digital marketing. To be happy here, you have to be a "popular girl" type from highschool. Think perfect hair, overly-chipper attitude, expensive cars, perfect nails, and perfect expensive clothes. If you aren't straight, white, suburban, or someone who shares their very Edina values you will not fit in, and furthermore, people will find you off-putting. If you are a young single girl, or a woman without young children, expect to pick up EVERYONE else's slack. The culture of mom-powerment often means that employees with young families can leave work whenever they want because they have to "pick up their kiddos" or "attend kindergarten graduation" and therefore are forgiven on shirking their duties and deadlines and giving them to someone who doesn't have children, resulting in a culture of resentment and over-work.
