Subpar leadership and little professional development - Anonymous employee EVERFI Employee Review

A few years of rapid growth combined with a big round of funding led to the company being bigger than any executives were qualified or capable of leading, not to mention getting the company to grow to where they want it to grow. There is no structure, no clear vision that doesn't change every other month, and no processes in place for the company to get to where they want it to be. As others have mentioned, favoritism is rampant, and charisma will get you further than competence. This might've worked when EVERFI had 50 employees, but it's not working now that it has 500 employees and a lot of mediocre people are in leadership positions and growth has completely stalled.
