Company has been gutted and mission lost - Anonymous employee EVERFI Employee Review

The k-12 business is dead and the company is gutted. Rather than try to build out or improve content, they are going to just keep what they have and use it to market to kids. The new primary sales strategy is to sell sponsors on what are essentially ads - pre/post course videos, branded content, etc. Very disappointing. This is made even more evident by the fact that they laid off almost the entire content team. Morale is at an all time low and pretty much everyone I know who was spared is looking for other opportunities. Leadership ran this company into the ground and no way out that I can see.
