Pros
I was allowed to work remotely
Cons
I have already had 2 former colleagues ask me about working here, and I had to tell both of them to look elsewhere. The company offered equity, a bonus structure, unlimited PTO (within reason), and paternity leave (undefined) during my interview process. After working there for 6 months, they changed the PTO to accrued (so I had earned like 4 days or something?), they neglected to offer a bonus program, the equity never came, and they stated that if you haven’t been with the company for 1+ year, they weren’t willing to offer time off for paternity/maternity. When asked about these issues multiple times, they gaslight you into thinking that you either don’t deserve it, or were misinformed in your offer. There are only 3 employees I believe who have even made it over 1 year there. Constant turnover. Constant nagging and micromanaging, claiming that it is for the good of the customer. Obvious disconnect between leadership and working folks, it’s clear they are just trying to sell the company. Neither CEO even drives an electric vehicle. I only tested the chargers once at Culver Steps, and was unable to start a charge on my EV due to poor connectivity. They definitely live up to the reputation of “portfolios pirates” for their sales folks - they’ll bring you in, take your portfolio and give it to their top 3 salesMEN, and then fire you and promote the salesmen. The town hall meetings every week or so were just bashing on other companies without saying how they will improve or separate from the competition. Nothing proprietary about their hardware or software stack either. They turn down business in the sake of only going after “elephant accounts” (large clients). Another decision by leadership in effort to sell the company with “big logos”. This is also the only company I’ve been at where I’ve seen multiple people receive demotions and pay cuts.
