Pros
- If you are good at being under other's shoes, you can go pretty high up in here even if you dont have any technical skills. - There is so much free time here you can start your own side business. People wanting Career Growth or Development, you are warned! - If you are a part of any IITs or IIMs and already know that servitude is a part of job, you may be able to get the few perks which you have heard about. - Hoping to find a really flexible and cool timings? Well it depends if your supervisor wants to come before you or not. But they also come at random time from as late as one hour to 3 hours, so its all really a greater risk with every passing hour. - You can easily find small panchayats going on between the people here and there, and you can choose the topic they are discussing to join to. - Can be a great place to study for other entrance exams like CAT, GRE etc. - You will learn double, triple checking everything you do. even reading every word you write again and again. Will learn how to work under the pressure of not only client work but their own too. The reason for that being that if you even make any small mistake, expect a lecture from your supervisor and one more negative comments in the talk he and other senior members like to do.
Cons
- They say they provide Cab services. But none of the female friends I know prefer, or feel safe going in them. Unless you are looking for a heart thumping ride, sometimes by a drunk driver who likes to stop in middle and have snacks. - You can easily learn everything that you hope to learn here by just joining the basic SAS classes. - Can be a place where most of the work can be assigned to you if you show any leisure in being a good subordinate or doesnt show as much eagerness to please him as the new guy. - Is it a data company? Well, you might wonder that yourself when you hear one of the most senior member of your process asking you questions which are even worse than any fresher's ... Its not like they are there to teach you, guide you onto this career path or anything right, so not sure if this is a con. - YOU LIKE BEING YOUR BOSS' SHOES? LIKE SPENDING TIME BY DISCUSSING THE TRENDY TOPICS ? JUST WANT A GF or BF? HAVE NO WORRIES ABOUT YOUR FUTURE AND WOULD RATHER THINK ABOUT LEARNING GUITAR/ DANCE/ BEATBOXING (really??) ... IS THIS LIKE THE PERFECT COMPANY FOR ME???? Um, well no. You may get thrown into a process where you may have to produce a lot of reports, though automated but time consuming. - Doing work while watching all the managers either talk wholeheartedly about the game last night or just playing any games they want, can be frustrating.
