Pros

Flexibility when it comes to schedule

Cons

I am working at Center 9, Manila andall of the things that I will be sharing are based on my own experience. A thousand of employees works at EXL and we may have different opinions towards the company. • Never show your hidden talents - if the management learns that you know something beyond your job description, they will ask you to do it without considering in adjusting your pay. And when i say "ask" you don't have the right to say "no" • There is an annual appraisal given to all employees; however, no one can give an explanation as to why you received that certain amount. They are saying that appraisal is based on the performance that you've shown during the whole year. The highest rating that you can get is 5 and the lowest is 1. There was a time when i got 5 and I received 1800 pesos appraisal and another employee got 3.5 and he received 1650 pesos. Giving your best is not really a good thing since giving a mediocre performace will still give me a decent appraisal • You cannot depend with the HR Department • The company gives more to external hires and internally promoted employees need to cope with the unjust adjustment that will be provided. My salary before I became a QA is already at 21k and they added 1k after the promotion. There was another employee whose salary is just 17k and he received the same amount (22k) after promotion. The promise of you will either get 22k (entry level) or 10% (increase) or max of 24k whichever is higher didn't happen. • The company will give you numerous training, and as a reaward, theu will give you additional tasks that are no longer stipulated in your job description

Pros

Paycheck clears, that’s about it.

Cons

Started off with supportive leadership, teamwork and opportunities to grow. At the start of this year, entire department went toxic. Leadership stopped communicating, people getting fired, threats that you would get fired, being told that they are “reducing workforce” in august, creating ridiculous metrics that were impossible to meet due to their own bad technology. Coworkers started getting mental and physical health issues trying to keep their jobs, and many are trying to leave. I have never seen such a toxic workplace in my 30 years of employment in this industry.
