      Pros

      Relaxed, flexible management. Great or poor experience based on clients and projects worked. I happened to work on projects for a top tier international financial firm.

      Cons

      Zero training or CPE support. All of my training came from the client, not EXL. The company is moving towards an IT strictly company. Someone like that is a CPA felt more and more out of place. Also, the second I announced my resignation, the HR treated me poorly. Failed to explain things and wouldn't resolve items concerning their area. Saying the person that used to handle a certain fringe benefit was no longer there to answer any questions I had.

      Thank you for your feedback. The overall market is undergoing a change and because of which it forces companies to look at what areas have more potential and need investment. Strategies and structures change to support the growth areas. While profitability is an important aspect, there are other factors that contribute to the shift in focus.

      Paycheck clears, that’s about it.

      Cons

      Started off with supportive leadership, teamwork and opportunities to grow. At the start of this year, entire department went toxic. Leadership stopped communicating, people getting fired, threats that you would get fired, being told that they are “reducing workforce” in august, creating ridiculous metrics that were impossible to meet due to their own bad technology. Coworkers started getting mental and physical health issues trying to keep their jobs, and many are trying to leave. I have never seen such a toxic workplace in my 30 years of employment in this industry.
