Pros

Very low bar, you don't need to work as hard as in other consulting firms to survive (if this is a pro)

Cons

No diversity at all (85+% are Indians, no women in leadership positions), a bunch of Team B or C players acting as if they were Team A players, lot of arrogance and constant internal fights for stupid things. Most of the OC Sr. Mgrs. have been in that company for ages and it would be very hard for them to survive if they were in any other place. Compensation is below average, benefits are cheap, they have 401K matching as a retention tool as they pay it as a lump sum in March (if you are still around). Projects are very boring and not challenging at all. Clients only hire EXL because they are cheap and use them as a body shop for backfilling. Very high turn over (it must be a record). The left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing.

Pros

Paycheck clears, that’s about it.

Cons

Started off with supportive leadership, teamwork and opportunities to grow. At the start of this year, entire department went toxic. Leadership stopped communicating, people getting fired, threats that you would get fired, being told that they are “reducing workforce” in august, creating ridiculous metrics that were impossible to meet due to their own bad technology. Coworkers started getting mental and physical health issues trying to keep their jobs, and many are trying to leave. I have never seen such a toxic workplace in my 30 years of employment in this industry.
