Pros
1) flexible work timings 2) no work load (infact, hardly any work) 3) free gym facility, TT and pool. More importantly, a lot of time to pursue these things (in some of the processes)
Cons
1) EMPLOYEE DISREGARD: EXL Service does not have any Indian client. Most clients are USA based. Whenever a client visits the office, the facilities block 1 lift out of 4 lifts of the 9 floor building (approx. 3000 employees). Even worse, they block a washroom each on ground floor, the client visit floor and recreation floor. They think that their employees would spoil the washroom so as to be unfit for a US' client to use. As a result, they can deploy a guard in front of each of the washrooms who would stop you from going inside. But they cannot deploy a housekeeping staff to ensure that the washroom is clean after every use. I can see no other reason than racism! 2) POOR CAB FACILITIES: They will not call you and tell you even if the cab is an hour late. They will never give you the number of the driver. Above all, there phone is 90% of the times busy. The cab will move if your phone is out of coverage area even for 30 seconds. Now you keep on worrying that you missed the cab or is it late! Thanks to the office location (Sec -144, greater Noida) you cannot reach via public conveyance. Spend your half day's salary for hiring private cab! 3) ALMOST NEGLIGIBLE WORK IN MOST TEAMS OF SOME PROCESSES: If you are want to learn more and build your career, EXL might not be your best choice. You will not be able to learn unless you really push yourself. Almost a time waste.
