Pros
Great mean opportunities to learn and understand difficult financial concepts that will be very useful throughout your career. Good team support and no 'egos' that can make for a difficult work environment.
Cons
Hours can be rough, especially for the starting salary of a first year associate. EY has a very much 'control your own destiny' mindset which can be a pro/con for different people, but you will have to get on the projects you want, work with managers you like, and effectively take what you end up doing into your own hands. Lots of administrative work that can get overwhelming at times. Charging hours, even though we are salary we still have to log our hours to charge to the client, it can be very stressful if there is little work and your utilization gets lower.
