      Pros

      Laid back work environment, you get to see cool and uncommon products, and you get to meet a lot of interesting people who shop for these products.

      Cons

      Low pay, little chance of advancement, dangerous work environment, your hours are changed after working them (which I believe may be illegal and it’s common practice in many of the stores), if a staff member who has been around other staff members tests positive for Covid-19 nothing is done other than telling said Covid positive employee to leave only if they show symptoms.

      The store is in the mall so there are the drawbacks of that.

      Fun. easy going retail environment

      Cons

      The company hired me to move from one city to another 2 hours away and then closed the location they hired me to work at 5 months after hiring me. I found out later this had to have been in the works all along and it was not communicated to me that this was to be the case. I left a job I had had for 7 years to move to a new city for a fresh start only to shortly after have a piece of that start removed by a company with no compassion. They then offered me a lesser position at another location where the pay wasn't even the least bit comparable. This truly could have been a lovely position where it not for all that got in the way.
