      Pros

      Good salary. There are many people in Baton Rouge that are very supportive of the schools. Many wonderful coworkers. Staff at my school are cohesive.

      Cons

      There are very few opportunities for advancement that are advertised. Many people in the upper ranks all seem to know one another as if they belong to some sort of club.

      I’m literally drawing a blank.

      Cons

      Politics. Everybody knows everybody and if you care about teaching and call out administrators who are committing immoral acts (targeting, bullying, making sure your livelihood and status are threatened, they black list you). Only the staff who are willing to play the game get longevity.
