Teach elsewhere - Teacher East Baton Rouge Parish School System Employee Review

Terrible management. Excessive work (I put in over 80 hours a week). You end up with the normal lessons but tremendous paperwork, huge classrooms, and in my case 65 % of students were very low functioning that got pushed up by aging out. No support from management - students would threaten to "beat you bloody" and lunge at you and management would do nothing until they did it to one of the teachers that were "in the loop" with management. Teachers quiting all the time. My doctor told be to either quit or I would soon suffer a stroke....
