Pros
Flexible schedule (can work remote), coworkers were mostly enjoyable to work with, often very educated, and work could be interesting, with a great cause. Pay for senior level employees is acceptable. Founders mostly tried to care about employees.
Cons
Unfortunately, management didn't implement successful people management processes, and it was hard for younger employees to have job satisfaction. Though they tried, their success was lacking. Pay was very low for most younger employees, and some were not able to advance at all or learn new skills.
