Pros

Capturing Genuine Moments: Kids are often uninhibited, which means you capture authentic expressions and raw emotions. Creative Freedom: Photographing kids allows for playful and creative shots that stand out from traditional portraits. High Energy and Fun: Sessions are lively and full of energy, making each shoot unique and memorable. Emotional Fulfillment: Seeing the joy on parents' faces when they view the photos is incredibly rewarding. Building Strong Client Relationships: Working with families can lead to long-term clients, especially as they capture new milestones over the years. Challenging but Rewarding: Photographing kids requires patience and adaptability, but mastering this brings a great sense of achievement. Storytelling through Imagery: Every session tells a unique story, from toddlers taking their first steps to siblings playing together. Learning to Think Quickly: Kids move fast, so you learn to capture the perfect shot quickly and stay on your toes. Memories That Last a Lifetime: You’re creating cherished memories that families will keep for generations. Diverse Work Environments: From studios to parks and family homes, kids’ photography takes you to a variety of locations.

Cons

Unpredictable Behavior: Kids can be unpredictable, making it challenging to get the shots you planned. Short Attention Spans: It can be tough to keep kids engaged, often requiring extra time or effort to maintain their focus. High Energy Required: Sessions can be exhausting, as you need to match the kids’ energy to keep them interested. Meltdowns and Mood Swings: Young children might cry or refuse to cooperate, requiring patience and adaptability. Scheduling Challenges: Working around nap times, meal times, and other routines can complicate scheduling sessions. Equipment Vulnerability: Kids can be curious or clumsy around equipment, which might lead to accidental damage. Noise and Distractions: Kids may be easily distracted, and background noises or toys can interfere with the session’s flow. Limited Posing Options: Unlike adults, kids may not follow detailed posing directions, making it harder to achieve specific compositions. Parental Expectations: Parents often have high expectations, which can add pressure to deliver “perfect” shots despite unpredictable factors. Physical Strain: Getting down to kids’ eye levels or keeping up with their movements can be physically demanding over time.

Pros

Nothing. It’s a total joke. Negative and nuclear toxicity is a taught lesson there. Very HR heavy. They deserve the troubles and negativity there.

Cons

The severance package by far. The remaining employees are WT and miserable. The stereotypes of HR people come to life at Kodak. Fat, miserable, old, and tired…. Worst people on earth
