Pros

The office has a very laid back atmosphere, depending on your department, so for the most part, no one is really keeping track of when you come or go. This can be a bad thing though as people who take advantage of this really effect the performance of their team with no discipline, which can spread a cloak of negativity among your peers. Most of the people are decent to work with in terms of friendliness and responsibility. The company provides a good benefits and vacation package and offers opportunities to young professionals straight out of college.

Cons

The biggest challenge was working through a CEO that requires every decision be made through him. He doesn't believe in incentive or recognition, so it's hard to feel appreciated or even know when you're doing something right. Rather, he thinks he should talk down or embarrass his employees to point out what they're doing wrong. Salaries are absolutely ridiculous, even for Lexington, and the hiring of younger people is definitely taken advantage of. People will get hired in and be happy to have an income, but then the workload is tripled within the first year but their salaries remain the same. Reviews are always at least 7 months late, and often unfair. There are also a lot of ethical and political issues within the company, such as secret bonuses for pets and business practices that are intended to rip off college students.

Pros

I handle a mix of order questions and returns which builds my knowledge steadily. The team works well together and I like the steady pace through the day. Hours are reliable and leadership communicates expectations well. It's a good spot for developing support experience.

Cons

There are some repetitive customer questions.

Pros

The core selection of products is solid when they are actually stocked properly.

Cons

-The real issue is that people were pushed into management with no real understanding of how to lead. -Managers are making operational decisions with no prior experience training others or handling responsibility at this level, and it shows in every choice. -Decisions seem to come from guesswork or favoritism, while staff doing the actual work deal with the consequences. -The chain of command is completely unclear because directions are constantly changed or contradicted by different managers within the same day. -The entire store operates in a constant state of uncertainty since no one can trust that instructions given today will still apply tomorrow, making it extremely difficult to function effectively.
