Pros
Fun, interesting work, a wide variety of work to do. Some great people, but a LOT of turkeys. Company events are generally fun and help to break up the year.
Cons
The people are generally out for their own good and will sometimes stomp all over you to get those "coveted, rare" promotions. Once you make a mistake, it is forever written in stone and it is impossible to wash one's self of the stereotype. Management has little interest in the employees' well-being and will often take office gossip as an absolute truth with little-to-no verification. That being said, office gossip is rampant and borderlines on harassment, and HR seems to take little interest in managing it (use of quid-pro-quo techniques is widespread) Employees are expected to be at the beckon call when it comes to working hours and employees' hours (yes, even exempt, salaried employees) are covertly checked using access badges. Upon leaving, HR doesn't even ask why you are leaving, and exit interviews are "conveniently" short - especially when it comes to what they can do to improve the company.
