Pros
- Work on a product that you can see being used at many places - very friendly and helpful coworkers who genuinely care - a good place to start your career and learn the development process - good classes offered to ramp up
Cons
- no flexible hours or wfh policy - stingy at PTO - compensation definitely doesn't reflect the current market numbers in the area, nor does it make you want to stay ( ESPP only slightly makes up for it , that too because the company's stocks are growing) - health benefits are pretty bad with such a high deductible - bad coffee ( sounds like a small con, but have heard so many people complain about it so often, it just shows how frugal the company is in every area possible) - takes many years to get promoted, doesn't reflect the current market trend of career growth when compared to many companies in the same field.
