Pros

Company Car with Gas and Insurance paid for. Work from home / car. Company laptop / cell phone. District Manager is very understanding of what goes on in the field and will stand up for you if you know what you are talking about. Meet a lot of people working in the field. The company isn't going anywhere the positions are very stable for the most part.

Cons

Incredible work load for field reps in all divisions. If you'r not in the office in Saint Pauls, MN your going to be working your butt off doing 10-15 hour days. Good luck taking any vacation they expect you to finish your entire territory before you even think of going anywhere. You'r also on call 24/7 Get done with your territory early? Have fun driving 2 hours to another territory to work someone else stores for the remainder of the month. Lots of Overtime. No Additional Pay for said overtime. No commission in Kay division. CAM (Corporate Account Managers) seem like they do nothing but complain and try to tell you how to do your job down to every task. Incredible amount of windshield time. 4000-6000 Miles a month. Furthest drive is 3 hours away. Some of the territories even overlap!? We are all trained for the same job! Company could easily remap territories and save thousands of dollars a month in fuel costs. Terrible Work-Home balance. This company expects you to be on call all the time. Work plenty of Overtime and not get any extra compensation from it. If you want to move up in this company you have to brag about yourself constantly. Your performance means very little when it comes to promotions. No Commission in certain divisions. High Turnover for Field Reps. Roll Outs = 60-70 hours a week with no overtime.

Pros

The pros are four day work week 10 hour days, with many Fridays volunteer overtime They try to make a friendly environment

Cons

The pay is not as good as the other places around the area – odd for a fortune 200 company Daily quotas on work – some of them are unrealistic Many department supervisors – a.k.a. “coaches “ are pretty good – one or two are not. Typically these are the ones that have been there for 25 years plus. 20 minute break in the morning, 20 minute break for lunch 10 minute break in the afternoon You are truly on your feet for majority of the 10 hour day The corporation tries to make a friendly environment, but very few employees involve themselves in it. Much backstabbing among line workforce, not a healthy environment. Line workforce runs to supervisors constantly about other people when they should be concerned about their own work. Management has their favorites and you could see that by who who they talk to, and who Brown noses them
