Pros

Great benefits starting from day 1. Great compensation for what you do. Free company car for business/personal use. They pay you a stipend for gas, tolls, storage, cellphone, etc.

Cons

Micromanaging at it's finest! Cut throat industry, highly expensive product! Don't get into this job thinking it's pure sales! They give you a territory and you need to manage that territory and on top of that you need to sell new accounts. Nearly impossible when you have customers calling you every 10 min to go fix something that's "broken" some days are longer than others but expect 50 plus hours a week starting out. When you get a hang of your route it will drop to 35-40 depending on your relationships with your customers. Expect service calls at 7 pm and you have to go out that same day! Probably getting home at 10 pm. This job sucks if you have a degree you are pretty much a repairman and salesman all in one. But mostly repairman you are dealing with mostly restaurants in the kitchen and most of them don't even clean/touch their dish machine and expect you to do everything from maintenance that they should be doing to fixing every little issue. The company is great but some of the managers suck. Your success there depends on your manager.

Pros

The pros are four day work week 10 hour days, with many Fridays volunteer overtime They try to make a friendly environment

Cons

The pay is not as good as the other places around the area – odd for a fortune 200 company Daily quotas on work – some of them are unrealistic Many department supervisors – a.k.a. “coaches “ are pretty good – one or two are not. Typically these are the ones that have been there for 25 years plus. 20 minute break in the morning, 20 minute break for lunch 10 minute break in the afternoon You are truly on your feet for majority of the 10 hour day The corporation tries to make a friendly environment, but very few employees involve themselves in it. Much backstabbing among line workforce, not a healthy environment. Line workforce runs to supervisors constantly about other people when they should be concerned about their own work. Management has their favorites and you could see that by who who they talk to, and who Brown noses them
