Pros

Serve growing markets & categories and have great business model for each industry served. Aggressive growth focused organization with excellent career potential if you are willing to work both smart and very hard. Total comp potential above average if you can get LTI. Winning leadership team with excellent financial position and stock performance to propel the company forward and beat competition. Customer centric philosophy with excellent customer service and leading technology/systems.

Cons

Work/life balance gets lip-service - make no mistake there is expectation for 60+ hour weeks to advance or even keep your job. Sales obsessed organization that plays favorites and can remind you of a high school popularity contest to be recognized for upward mobility. Top executives have a zealous religious fervor to beat the S&P 500 and nothing (no matter how reasonable) will get in the way of making quarterly and annual business targets. Some very passive/aggressive, wicked execs thrive in midst of great overall leadership team - beware of them. Rapid growth and acquisitions have leadership team stretched very thin and seems to be increasing the heartless pursuit of the financials at the expense of longer-term development of the overall team and organization.

Pros

The pros are four day work week 10 hour days, with many Fridays volunteer overtime They try to make a friendly environment

Cons

The pay is not as good as the other places around the area – odd for a fortune 200 company Daily quotas on work – some of them are unrealistic Many department supervisors – a.k.a. “coaches “ are pretty good – one or two are not. Typically these are the ones that have been there for 25 years plus. 20 minute break in the morning, 20 minute break for lunch 10 minute break in the afternoon You are truly on your feet for majority of the 10 hour day The corporation tries to make a friendly environment, but very few employees involve themselves in it. Much backstabbing among line workforce, not a healthy environment. Line workforce runs to supervisors constantly about other people when they should be concerned about their own work. Management has their favorites and you could see that by who who they talk to, and who Brown noses them
