Pros

Billion dollar company with room to grow

Cons

For such a large company, the structure is very poor. Admins are expected to support at least 2 CAM’s, which would be ok if it weren’t for the poor structure and red tape that constantly prevents us from completing tasks and taking care of our customers in a timely manner. Supporting 2 + CAM’s with large books of business is very demanding and comes with a heavy workload that is impossible for one person to complete when absolutely no overtime is permitted and you’re doing not only your job, but researching and gathering information that other departments are responsible for, yet the structure is so poor, you’re left with no choice. We work so hard, and barely have time to grab a cup of coffee, or take a lunch, yet our work often goes unappreciated because there’s so much on our plates we can never do enough. Being an Admin is one of the most stessful positions in any company, but I’ve never seen such a large corporation who couldn’t get it together and have such poor policies and procedures that it prevents us from delivering the service we promise our customers. I’m not alone in this. Every Admin I know would go elsewhere if they weren’t afraid of change. No one is happy in their jobs, which makes for a toxic environment.

Pros

The pros are four day work week 10 hour days, with many Fridays volunteer overtime They try to make a friendly environment

Cons

The pay is not as good as the other places around the area – odd for a fortune 200 company Daily quotas on work – some of them are unrealistic Many department supervisors – a.k.a. “coaches “ are pretty good – one or two are not. Typically these are the ones that have been there for 25 years plus. 20 minute break in the morning, 20 minute break for lunch 10 minute break in the afternoon You are truly on your feet for majority of the 10 hour day The corporation tries to make a friendly environment, but very few employees involve themselves in it. Much backstabbing among line workforce, not a healthy environment. Line workforce runs to supervisors constantly about other people when they should be concerned about their own work. Management has their favorites and you could see that by who who they talk to, and who Brown noses them
