Pros

Used to be a good job

Cons

Inept management, took away all incentive to sell, everyone is quitting because of the awful one institution model, good ole boy club, expected to know how to maintain hundreds of different machines with minimal training, dumped off pool and laundry on TMs who weren’t trained, employees leaving in droves because they can find better paying jobs fairly easily now, AVP in my market hasn’t even visited one of the major casinos since he took over - no one knows what he does all day, they discriminate you if you hurt yourself and management looks for any reason to get rid of you, they don’t let you know you’re eligible for a pension buy out after 3 years if you’ve been terminated, HR is a revolving door here and no one knows what they’re doing, ceo walks out with 75 million and ecolab turns around cuts job and salaries of the workers who maintained their revenue during the pandemic, expected to illegally work weekend coverage for free every 6-8 weeks before one institutional, compensation is an insult and a joke and what is wrong with large corporations nowadays, chemicals are overpriced compared to competitors. If you recently left ecolab after three + years of service make sure you inquire about the pension buyout in which all employees are eligible for

Pros

The pros are four day work week 10 hour days, with many Fridays volunteer overtime They try to make a friendly environment

Cons

The pay is not as good as the other places around the area – odd for a fortune 200 company Daily quotas on work – some of them are unrealistic Many department supervisors – a.k.a. “coaches “ are pretty good – one or two are not. Typically these are the ones that have been there for 25 years plus. 20 minute break in the morning, 20 minute break for lunch 10 minute break in the afternoon You are truly on your feet for majority of the 10 hour day The corporation tries to make a friendly environment, but very few employees involve themselves in it. Much backstabbing among line workforce, not a healthy environment. Line workforce runs to supervisors constantly about other people when they should be concerned about their own work. Management has their favorites and you could see that by who who they talk to, and who Brown noses them
