Pros

No pro's at all, biggest mistake was taking a job with them

Cons

1) They'll say anything to get you in the door 2) In the "What you will do section " Pest Technician position gives you a vague description on the details, It's deliberate! Because A: YOU ARE NOT JUST A PEST TECHNICIAN, YOU ARE A ROUTE MANAGER, SCHEDULER, BILLING, VEHICLE MAINTAINER, just to name a few. 3) All of the information used to train you is used as a weapon and not a tool ~ That's including training in the field~ The idiot in the field is there to collect his extra 5.00 an hour, not train you properly. More importantly they will detail interactions and share performance in the field to be used against you ~ GREAT COACHING TOOL ! What a disgrace! 4) They have no published pricing for its employees to its customers " especially for Route Techs.,.@12.75 an hour and an unknown $$ amount for incentives" These dirtbags just throw numbers at you and tell you to have the customer call the 800# and the Route Manager will take the commission. Or cheat it's employees out of generating commission revenue for the Route Technician. 5) The majority of the District Managers are there because they were/are unemployable in other industries " Best part of it , That's exactly how they treat you and remind you daily to control you." 6) Managers will ask you to rat on coworkers. Those that will rat to get ahead will drive past you home or check on you in the field . Because, they are lazy, and It'll save them time to do the leg work in the field. And then, harass you based on the rat's info. 7) Every person that separated from the company was slandered to co-worker " They couldn't cut it ! The route ran him, he could not run the route" Not one person said ONE good thing about those that moved on! 8) Every person I spoke with that moved on said nothing but bad things about: daily practices, commissions and disposal of insectisides and lower wages over time. 9) You will not get a good reference from this company when you separate! " I don't care who you are!" 10) Leave sooner than later. If for nothing else: A better quality of life!

Pros

The pros are four day work week 10 hour days, with many Fridays volunteer overtime They try to make a friendly environment

Cons

The pay is not as good as the other places around the area – odd for a fortune 200 company Daily quotas on work – some of them are unrealistic Many department supervisors – a.k.a. “coaches “ are pretty good – one or two are not. Typically these are the ones that have been there for 25 years plus. 20 minute break in the morning, 20 minute break for lunch 10 minute break in the afternoon You are truly on your feet for majority of the 10 hour day The corporation tries to make a friendly environment, but very few employees involve themselves in it. Much backstabbing among line workforce, not a healthy environment. Line workforce runs to supervisors constantly about other people when they should be concerned about their own work. Management has their favorites and you could see that by who who they talk to, and who Brown noses them
