Pros
Company car, expense account, working from home, management sucks so it is easy to do what you want to do with little attention or feedback.
Cons
The company is letting a talented technical sales force be managed by a bunch of guys that were either in marketing or were good at slinging soap(high volume, low value, low ability level sales with Ecolab's other divisions). They are extremely arrogant because they came from the bottom of the barrel to the top and now think they are something great(you would think this would be the opposite). There were several great leaders in this division that have left for good or bad reasons or they are still there but now marginalized. This is not for anyone with an engineering or strong leadership background. If you are set on this particular field there are better opportunities with competitors.
