Pros

- Because Edelman is so title driven, it's easy to climb the corporate ladder at a faster pace than other companies - Working from home isn't an issue

Cons

- NO work-life balance - consider 60-hour work weeks and all-nighters the norm. There is little respect for personal time, including vacations, weekends and nights. - Office politics are an issue - a VERY title-driven company. Those without titles are often treated poorly by senior leadership. - An EXTREMELY fast-paced environment leads to quantity over quality. Not recommended for creatives looking to develop new skills and build their portfolio. - High turnover rate - Non-creatives often like to play creative director. This often leads to a high-stress environment, harsh creative feedback and amateur end-products. - Low pay, few bonuses

Pros

I worked with some of the brightest and best people in the business. Most of them are no longer with the company. Some good clients, and nice office space.

Cons

Very limited opportunities for growth. During my time they reduced promotions to only once a year, and made many excuses for promoting as few people as possible (despite becoming the first "$1B" agency at that time). Morale was extremely low. People were forced to come into an office with nobody they actually worked with. Common to be passed from manager to manager. At one point I had 6+ managers within a 10-month span.
