Pros
Edelman is independently owned which means no corporate overlord (aka parent company) making arbitrary decisions for the agency. Salary is on par with the rest of the industry but really love that this agency gives annual bonuses so you feel like you are rewarded for working hard. The client work is really interesting, team members are smart and kind, and there are tons of resources at your fingertips. Edelman also feels like an inclusive environment where people from all backgrounds and walks of life can thrive. For the most part, work/life balance is easy to achieve.
Cons
Sometimes communication from the top down can be a little muddled. Hard to get clarity around bonuses and merit increases (but again, great that we get bonuses and merit increases!). Teams feel a bit siloed so true integration can be difficult.
