Pros

I was able to have a much better work-life balance than at other agencies. The team I worked on was very supportive, and overall I enjoyed the people I got to work with there. If you play the game, you can occasionally get on some cool clients.

Cons

It is so big and it feels that way - you feel like a tiny fish in a huge ocean and it's hard to feel any different. I was asked to work on clients that I did not agree with on an ethical level, which I believe went against what Edelman stands for, but I will note that when I asked to be taken off the client, my manager was very understanding and supportive that this went against my beliefs. I think Edelman should practice what they preach more when it comes to the clients they work with.

Pros

I worked with some of the brightest and best people in the business. Most of them are no longer with the company. Some good clients, and nice office space.

Cons

Very limited opportunities for growth. During my time they reduced promotions to only once a year, and made many excuses for promoting as few people as possible (despite becoming the first "$1B" agency at that time). Morale was extremely low. People were forced to come into an office with nobody they actually worked with. Common to be passed from manager to manager. At one point I had 6+ managers within a 10-month span.
