Pros
The people, but most of the great ones are gone. A few are still clinging on while looking for greener pastures.
Cons
Where do I begin? -Complete lack of communication from leadership on major personnel changes, even to SVP+. -Constant shift in strategy. Edelman loves to roll out shiny new distractions (Content Lab, Gen Z Lab, Over 50s, Ruth, etc.), all rolled out to great fanfare but then disappear under mysterious circumstances. It feels desperate. -Their "Trust" brand is eroding, because they do not practice what they preach. How many times has Richard spoken to the need for "transparency" in business to CEOs, yet he continues to keep many senior leaders in the dark on major business decisions. -They're in bed with some of the most evil people and corps in the world: The Saudi government, Nikkie Haley, Shell. But you should trust them, because they're all about trust, ha! -The pay is horrendous for the work you do. One of the lowest paying agencies in the business, if not the lowest. -Long-term and continued employment for toxic leaders because they're still bringing in the money.
