Thank you for taking time to write this review. I am disappointed to learn that your overall experience at Edelman Financial wasn’t a positive one. While I certainly empower our managers to lead their teams, I also trust our employees’ ability to do their jobs without being micromanaged. Furthermore, I am committed to fostering a safe and happy work environment in which all of our employees feel valued and well cared for, so when I hear feedback like this, I take it very seriously. I would appreciate the opportunity to learn more about your experience and hear your recommendations for improving the situation. I understand you no longer work with us, but if you’d be willing to speak with me about this matter, please contact me at GlassdoorFeedback@ricedelman.com, so we can set up a time to talk. Thanks again for your feedback and for giving me insight into how I can improve.

Pros

- Great team from department head down - Collaboration is encouraged - Self-starter culture with good room for side projects - "See something, say something" approach allows questioning methodology without a feeling of personal attacks or "dumb questions" and enables team members to support each other in a safe environment - Work from home

Cons

- Executive leadership does not know what they want - Consistent turnover in C-Suite leads to departments acting like small internal companies rather than part of a larger system - Limited permission access for team members means that any absence or time-off can lead to a backlog of deployments
