Pros
This was once a great place to work. Great people, wonderful flexibility to make up for dismal pay, and supervisors that actually cared about the concerns and welfare for teachers.
Cons
The "Policy of the Week" game is getting old. The target is always moving for the so-called sake of equity. It's never really equitable because as teachers we don't teach the same loads, have the same groups of students or are asked to have the same state/subject certs. So many teachers were hired on during Covid that never learned how to scale up operations. If anything they have scaled back the number of managers that are in place and created a system that's so micromanage that it makes all of the teachers miserable. And I use the term "teacher" very loosely because when passing rate, completion rate and satisfaction rate are your measures for success, do we even care about educating.
